1. Agreement and authority
These Sponsorship Terms form a legally binding agreement between the person or entity purchasing a sponsorship ("Sponsor") and BaldLooks.com ("BaldLooks," "we," "us," or "our"). These terms supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
By submitting an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have authority to bind the Sponsor, are purchasing for business purposes, and accept these Sponsorship Terms. If these terms conflict with a signed written agreement between BaldLooks and the Sponsor, the signed agreement controls only to the extent of that conflict.
2. Sponsorship types
- Site-wide Sponsorship means a time-limited placement displayed across eligible BaldLooks content pages, excluding articles with an exclusive sponsor and any pages we reasonably determine are unsuitable.
- Exclusive Article Sponsorship means a one-time placement associated with one approved article, subject to the operating-life limits in Section 8.
- Placement means the sponsor name, logo, domain, title, tagline, link, disclosure, or related presentation published by BaldLooks.
- Publication Date means the date on which BaldLooks first makes the approved Placement publicly available.
3. Reservation and review
Payment reserves a review opportunity, not an automatic right to publication. We aim to complete the initial review within 24 to 72 hours after receiving the information reasonably needed from the Sponsor. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed service level, and may be extended when clarification, revisions, compliance checks, or third-party information are required.
We may approve, reject, request revisions to, or decline any Sponsor, destination, offer, creative, claim, or Placement at our reasonable discretion. We may consider audience relevance, editorial standards, technical safety, legal risk, reputation, and conflicts with existing commitments.
4. Prices, payment, and taxes
The price and included features shown at checkout form part of these terms. Payment is due in full when the reservation is submitted. The Sponsor is responsible for applicable taxes, duties, fees, chargeback costs, and accurate billing information, except taxes imposed on BaldLooks’ net income.
Prices may change for future orders. A price change does not alter a previously accepted order, but renewal or a new sponsorship is charged at the price then offered.
5. Approval and refunds
If BaldLooks rejects a reservation before publication, we will cancel it and refund the full sponsorship price paid, less any payment-processing, currency-conversion, refund, or other transaction fees actually charged by our payment processor and not returned to BaldLooks. Any deduction applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law. A Sponsor-requested cancellation before publication may be accepted or refused at our discretion, particularly after review or creative work has begun.
Once a Placement is published, all sponsorship fees are earned and non-refundable, including if the Sponsor later changes its campaign, destination, business, offer, or priorities.
No refund, credit, extension, or replacement is owed for removal, suspension, or termination caused by the Sponsor’s breach, misconduct, changed circumstances, payment dispute, legal or safety risk, or failure to maintain an approved destination. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
6. Start date and time-limited placements
A time-limited sponsorship begins on its Publication Date, not on the purchase date. A 30-day sponsorship is intended to remain active for 30 consecutive calendar days, subject to these terms. Brief interruptions for maintenance, security, technical incidents, legal compliance, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control do not automatically extend the term or create a refund right.
Placement format, dimensions, position, eligible article inventory, and mobile or desktop presentation may change as the Website evolves. BaldLooks may make reasonable changes that preserve the general commercial purpose of the sponsorship without obtaining additional approval.
7. Sponsor content and obligations
- Provide complete, accurate, current, and lawful business, billing, destination, and campaign information.
- Own or hold all rights and permissions needed for submitted names, logos, trademarks, copy, images, claims, and destination content.
- Ensure every claim is truthful, substantiated, non-deceptive, and compliant with applicable advertising, consumer-protection, privacy, intellectual-property, and industry rules.
- Keep the destination secure, operational, relevant to the approved sponsorship, and free from malware, forced downloads, deceptive redirects, or materially different content.
- Notify BaldLooks before changing the destination, offer, brand ownership, creative, or other material element of an approved sponsorship.
The Sponsor grants BaldLooks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license during the applicable sponsorship term to host, reproduce, resize, format, display, and link the submitted materials as reasonably necessary to review, publish, promote, document, and administer the Placement.
8. Exclusive and permanent article placements
"Permanent," "forever," or similar language means only for the operating life of the relevant BaldLooks article and Website. It does not mean perpetual, irrevocable, or guaranteed for any minimum number of years.
BaldLooks may update, consolidate, redirect, archive, unpublish, replace, or delete an article; redesign or migrate the Website; change domains or technology; discontinue a category; sell or transfer the Website; or suspend or cease operations at any time. If the relevant article or Website is discontinued, the Placement ends automatically without refund, compensation, replacement, damages, or other liability.
Exclusive status means BaldLooks will not intentionally display another paid sponsor within that same article while the exclusive Placement remains active. It does not restrict ordinary editorial references, affiliate links, platform notices, house promotions, or advertising outside that article.
9. Advertising disclosure and editorial independence
BaldLooks may label each Placement with terms such as "Sponsor," "Sponsored," "Advertisement," or another disclosure we consider clear and appropriate. The Sponsor may not remove, obscure, or discourage such disclosures.
Payment does not purchase editorial control, favorable coverage, rankings, product claims, endorsements, or influence over independent BaldLooks content. BaldLooks may publish, retain, update, or remove editorial content at its discretion, including content that mentions the Sponsor or competing products.
10. Prohibited conduct
- Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, unsafe, defamatory, infringing, discriminatory, exploitative, or misleading products, services, content, or conduct.
- Adult content, gambling, unlicensed financial or medical claims, malware, counterfeit goods, weapons, hate content, or offers unrelated to the BaldLooks audience.
- Misrepresentation of an affiliation with, endorsement by, or guarantee from BaldLooks.
- Manipulation of clicks, tracking, attribution, search signals, or the technical operation of the Website.
11. Suspension and termination
BaldLooks may immediately suspend, modify, or terminate a Placement without notice or refund if the Sponsor breaches these terms; engages in misconduct; becomes subject to credible allegations, sanctions, enforcement, insolvency, or reputational risk; changes ownership, destination, offer, or content in a materially concerning way; creates a legal, technical, security, editorial, or user-safety risk; or if continued publication could reasonably harm BaldLooks or its readers.
BaldLooks may also terminate a Placement for convenience. If we terminate a time-limited Placement for convenience without Sponsor fault, our sole obligation is, at our option, a reasonable pro-rata refund or comparable replacement time. This convenience remedy does not apply to operating-life or permanent Placements, which remain subject to Section 8.
12. Metrics and no performance guarantee
Audience and traffic figures are historical estimates and may change. Click tracking may be affected by consent choices, browser settings, blockers, bots, technical limitations, attribution methods, and third-party systems. BaldLooks does not guarantee impressions, clicks, conversions, sales, search rankings, backlink treatment, indexing, revenue, or any other result.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Website, sponsorship service, Placement, reporting, and related materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. BaldLooks disclaims all express, implied, statutory, and other warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, and commercial success.
14. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Sponsor will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BaldLooks, its owner, operators, contractors, affiliates, successors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, judgments, and reasonable costs arising from Sponsor materials, products, services, claims, destinations, conduct, breach of these terms, infringement, legal non-compliance, or dealings with users who follow the Placement.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BaldLooks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, opportunities, or anticipated savings; or claims arising from third-party platforms, Sponsor destinations, Website interruption, search-engine treatment, article removal, redesign, transfer, or shutdown.
BaldLooks’ total aggregate liability arising from a sponsorship will not exceed the amount the Sponsor actually paid for the specific sponsorship giving rise to the claim.
16. General terms
These Sponsorship Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Bulgaria, subject to mandatory law. The Sponsor may not assign an order without our written consent. BaldLooks may assign these terms in connection with a reorganization, sale, transfer, or operation of the Website.
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. BaldLooks is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Sections intended by their nature to survive termination will survive.
We may update these terms for future orders. Material changes affecting an active time-limited Placement will not apply retroactively unless required by law, needed for safety or compliance, or accepted by the Sponsor.
